• Yes. I have one hub controlling my main DVR as well as another hub controlling one of the other room's cable box. I have the X1 system from Xfinity.

• I use Pronto. I have a latest xfinity X1 DVR and it works perfectly. TV Guide in the app helps me a lot to change channel directly without having me to enter each digit of my channel. I like it that way. Also it has DVR buttons to record n watch shows.
