• The remote when connected to PC or Mac will update when you open the Harmony App. You can also update it manually through the app.

• I have a fairly new Samsung 4K TV and I didn't need to do anything special to the remote or the TV to get the remote to work. I just entered the model number of the TV into the application you install on your PC and it did the rest.
