• Yes, you may purchase the Blu tooth adapter, It's simply called the Logitech Harmony Remote for PS3 adapter. It may be discontinued though.

• Yes you do. I am still using the Smartz Bluetooth to IR adapter that I've been using for years. However they went out of business about a year ago so I'm afraid I can't tell you where to go to get one.
