• The Standalone K270 is compatible with Logitech's Unifying receiver. otherwise it is the exact same keyboard.

• Hi Idpmail, you are correct! The only difference between the two is the mouse option with the MK270 Combo. Since it's the holidays, it's very possible that the combo is less expensive right now. So snag it so you can save some money! Hope that helps! -N from Logitech
