It should you have a USB port on the Surface. Never tried it with mine, but I don't see why it wouldn't!

Yes. I use a USB hub so the keyboard is plugged into the hub, but it works perfectly. I don't have the Surface keyboard attached, but it should work even if you have that plugged in.
