I don't see why it wouldn't work. You plug an HDMI receiver into your desired device and it works through a wireless connection.

They offer Mac versions with better support.

Yes, its compatible with my 15" MBP mid 2012 model. Don't think this is an issue inspire of not being advertised by logitech.

If it has the MAC keys control, option and cmd on the bottom left low then it's a mac, The windows pc has a ctrl, win icon, and alt keys instead.
