The keyboard is equipped with USB wireless adapter. I prefer that actually to Bluetooth on my iMac. Very reliable.

You'll need to install the transmitter that comes with the unit into one of the USB ports (I almost missed it), and there was supposed to be an "extender " in the box that I never found (which spaces the transmitter 1" away from the back of the iMac in case there is interference because it is so close to the power supply) so I installed the transmitter in an unused USB port on a hub. BTW - the reviews for the appliction which allows you to monitor the keyboard's power level are poor - it seems to hog processor time. But I never installed or used it, and never had reason to. The keyboard works fine.
