“my new Logitech M185 is not turning on, battery is ok”

• I have the same issue. Just purchased. USB is in and the PC recognises that. Replaced battery. There is no plastic covers anywhere to remove. Yes tried the off/on switch. All to no avail - I assume these cheap ones have a high DOA mortality?

• I discovered that my mouse wasnt working because corosion had built up on one of the battery terminals after a very short time!

• Are you sure its not turning on nothing lights up on mouse Only way I could tell was to try it and see if curser moves

• Make sure you have the usb plugged in, that the battery is in the proper position and you removed that piece of plastic that keeps the battery from touching the positive contact in the packaging. Last thing to check is the on/off switch. If it is on try turning it off for a count of 5 and then back on and that normally resets it.

• Did you take the usb and put it into your computer port? Then just turn it on.
