There are three "buttons", one of which is the scroll wheel. Check out the Logitech Quick Start Guide for description of the buttons. http://www.logitech.com/assets/42322/m525-quick-start-guide.pdf. The buttons can be programmed.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Can't answer the question on "rebindable" but the buttons are L, R, and the center roller wheel / button. I'm sure you can manage what each click "does" via Windows control panel. Personally I'm perfectly happy with the default setting.
