“The one I have I can program one of the buttons to close. But it closes the entire session. Do you have one yet that will just close the window on the screen and leave the other windows up in the session?”

If you get the Logitech Setpoint software.(you may have to do a little digging for a legit exe) you will be able to customize all buttons.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You should be able to set the scroll button to minimize the current screen when it’s pushed, through the Setpoint software from Logitech website. That’s how I have it set. Minimize, not sure if close is an option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using Linux mint version 18.03; both 32 & 64 bit, that option isn't available in for the Linux operating system. Check you hardware options if you are using win 7 or 10 and see what is available for mouse configurations.
