Don't think Livestream sells an external mic for the Mevo. There is an audio jack on the camera for mic or line level input. This works well. Is use it to connect to a sound board. The USB-C port is also supposed to be able to accept sound input (but I've never tried it). You can also use your phone as a wireless audio input with an app. I've never tried this either. As for distance, my wired connection to sound board is at least 60 feet. I expect wireless using a phone would be dependant on your WiFi quality.

I don’t know a “distance” but I’ve used it in the back of a church and it picked up everything nicely. With that said, the minister was talking over the PA system (it wasn’t like it was just picking up her straight voice from 100’ away - although when the service was over it was picking up people’s conversations from probably 50 foot away, but I wouldn’t be bank on it being the sound quality you want from that distance). Overall I’m fairly impressed with the ability of the internal mic.
