• Faulty keyboard. I have 2 of the same and both work just fine.

• It could be a driver issue. Make sure you have the most recent update.

• Sounds like a faulty keyboard. Make sure the on off switch on the bottom of the keyboard is all the way on, you can see a green indicator while off is red.

• You might try (if you haven't already) rebooting after plugging in the receiver with the keyboard turned on (switch underneath keyboard). Also, may need to check batteries to make sure they are good, sometimes you get a bad one in a new package.
