• It might, but most likely NO. The best thing to do is get a combo kit, with Keyboard & Mouse, and in turn, you ELIMINATE any doubt or issues. I've done the same thing to save a few $ and I would have save more $ and a lot of time if I had just bought the combo kit in the first place.

• Yes, as long as you purchase a mouse with the Unifying receiver, it will pair with the existing receiver.
