• Well, this is a tricky question. In my experience, you can use the mouse while charging but do not let the battery die. If you do you can't use the mouse for awhile as you will have to plug in the USB charger and let the mouse charge up.

• Yes - but movement of the mouse is restricted by the charging cable.
