Almost nothing. The mac version has a nice space gray trim on it to match Apple hardware, and comes with a USB-C to C, vs a USB-C to A in the original. The mac version also gets rid of the USB dongle, so you only get bluetooth connection. All of the features are identical on both, this version is 99% marketing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The mouse comes in a Space Gray color and includes a USB-C to USB-C cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only difference I noticed was it came with a type-c to type-c cable for charging via the new MacBooks. Apart from that it was identical to the standard version which comes with a type-a to type-c cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has functions built specifically into the mouse that gives you advantages to moving through MacOS a lot quicker and efficiently (i.e. the gesture button on the mouse can be programmed to different MacOS apps/functions). By default, the gesture button will open up the Launchpad but based on if you use programs like Final Cut Pro X or Photoshop or Word, Excel, or Powerpoint, it will do different little tasks for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly, you can get away with the normal mx3. The only difference is the space grey color, it doesn’t come with the little USB adapter, and they made it a smoother experience for Mac. If you have mac, get the Mac one since it’s the same price as the normal one but if your store doesn’t have the Mac one, get the normal one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The space grey trim. That's it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.custom software for mac
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There's nothing that really makes it Mac specific. The Options software for Mac requires use of the Unifying Receiver to unlock the "Mac specific" gesture-based shortcuts. If you're pairing it via Bluetooth only and no software, it's a mouse just like any other wireless mouse.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dose not require a unifying receiver to connect via Bluetooth to a MacBook or iMac.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly not sure, the color matches Apple's Space Grey. I think that's about it lol
