• You can charge it with any USB-C cable

• Hello, if you do not have a Type A port on your mac, you can use a Type A to Type C adapter, or charge via a wall adapter.

• It comes with a USB Type-A to Type-C cable to charge the mouse. If your old Mac doesn't have a USB you can connect it to a USB wall plug. I did with the charger that came with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and it charged easily.

• I’m assuming you have an older USB on your Mac and not a USB-C? You can buy an adapter to change one of the ends to the old USB format. They are relatively cheap on Amazon for a few bucks (it’s good to have regardless). Alternatively, you don’t need to charge it through the Mac if you have a USB-C power adapter you can charge it directly through an outlet.
