“I'm switching off my 703 because the rubber siding where my thumb rests started to peel. Anyone know if this has the same rubber siding? I'm trying to decide between this and the new wireless G502.”

There is no rubber siding on either side. It's just got a grippy matte paint on it that helps with sliding. Haven't had an issue with it so far and my hands usually get sweaty after playing for too long.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not sure if the rubber sliding is exactly the same, I don’t own the pro, but there is no noticeable latency with either mouse. Obviously the big difference is weight, as well as the pro being a slightly more simplistic design. Also the pro is ambidextrous if you happen to be left handed. I prefer the feel of the 502, and the weight doesn’t bother me one bit. I have had the chance to spend some time with both on a variety of titles, and I ended up deciding on the 502.
