Where and how does keyboard plug in to IPAD? null

It doesn’t plug into iPad, it connects via Bluetooth and it uses your iPad’s battery. It is not a drain on the battery, but it uses it.

It doesn’t plug into iPad it connects via blue tooth. The keyboard has no battery or internal power source. The keyboard gets its power from the iPad therefore there is a slight (not noticeable) draw on your iPad’s battery.
