• There is a volume switch adjuster - not a power switch per se.

• Aside from the volume knob, there is no other power switch. The only way to turn the speakers on/off is via Volume knob. Level zero turns the speaker off. A led light is bright enough and on the front of one of the speakers to indicate if the speakers is on/off. Any volume level above zero turns the speaker on.
