• There is only one cord that connects to computer. The price is cheap enough to buy 2 sets. Or just buy soundbar

• My speakers draw power from the wall, sound from my Lenovo and they are not at all associated with my dell professional monitor. I had to add the speakers to my system because my new monitor has no sound element. It is strictly for supporting the images related to the computing that is done by my lenovo.

• Not sure what you mean, there is only one plug into the computer for both these speakers. They come as a set. Hope this helps.
