It doesn’t hook up with Bluetooth. You just click it on and then type. You don’t have to do anything. It’s amazing. You don’t have to charge it every. I don’t know about a mouse?

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The keyboard hooks up magnetically to the side of the iPad no setting up Bluetooth necessary it’s easy to attach and detach. I personally love it! When I need to work it’s like a mini laptop. As far as a mouse that’s something completely separate I would think you can purchase a mouse to work with an iPad but I have no experience with that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no it is not a bluetooth keyboard. It connects to the iPad pro via the 3 round connector dots on the side. If you do not have an ipad pro, you can not use this keyboard as it does not offer bluetooth as an option.

Easily detaches from the keyboard, but connects strongly enough to use when connected. Great for my job which I use my iPad for, as I need signature in the program I use with clients I see, and I simply disconnect the keyboard and hand them the iPad to sign in the note.
