• I don't think there are iPads with USB ports. I am certain that there is NO USB port on this keyboard case.

• The iPads have one Lightning port only. The Logitech KB has a micro-USB (I think that's the correct config) which is meant for charging its internal battery. The KB USB connection will not serve data from a paired iPad to another device, such as a computer.

• iPads do not have any USB port. The keyboard does not have a standard USB port either. It has a style of USB port for charging the keyboard, but that is it. You cannot plug anything in to it. If you are looking for something with a keyboard, and something small enough like an iPad, with a USB, the Microsoft Surface line is what you need.
