• as long as you have your iPad connected to your'e keyboard it charges magnetically

• It does not need charging. It does not come with a charging cable. The battery should last 2 years or more. Then it must be replaced.

• This keyboard does NOT have a rechargeable battery. Instead you must replace two flat round batteries in a slot on the left edge of the keyboard. When they weaken, it may be the connection to the iPad gets wobbly or the Bluetooth connection lights fail to light - frankly I am not sure.

• It doesn't need to be charged. The keyboard runs on a button cell battery which last for. 2 years. Change the battery and your good to go

• Don't buy this item. It doesn't work. It is a flawed product. Check out the forums on Logitech's site and you will see how many people are having problems with it. I was sent a replacement by Logitech and the second one also doesn't work.
