I connected the Logitech to my amplifier in the family room. I then paired my desktop computer to it from the living room. The distance is about 25 feet and there are several walls between them. I experienced sound drop-outs until I moved the Logitech to the top of my media center. It works good unless there is additional attenuation like a person between the two. The Bluetooth spec implies that you can place devices 30 feet apart, but I would make that conditional on wall and people attenuation. There should be no problem if you have the transmitter (iPhone or computer) in the same or adjacent room as the Logitech, but don't expect whole house coverage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cord from the Logitech receiver to the device receiving the signal is about five (5) feet long. The power cord for the Logitech is also about five (5) feet long. The Logitech receiver needs to be within the standard 10 meter (32 feet) distance from the device sending the signal (with the standard caveat of what is between the two Bluetooth devices that might block or degrade the signal, etc.).

Bluetooth is not a line of sight connection so it can be used through walls and floors. 30-50 ft for this device. This was the best alternative I could find from devices like chromecast that utilize a wifi connection, and I have logitech speakers, so it seemed like the best option for the cost. I definitely do not miss being tethered to an auxillary cord anymore, worth the cost. Can pretty much turn any device that takes the audio AV cables or aux into a bluetooth compatible device. I think that when you leave the connection area and then reenter, the connection picks itself back up.
