• If you plug it into the switched outlet on the back of an audio receiver, it will turn on when the receiver is turned on and off when the receiver is turned off

• It will stay on as long as its power connector is attached. There is no power on/off button. You can conveniently pull the power cable from the back of the unit, although this small unit should not use much energy. You can always tape over the light if that bothers you.

• It's always on. I have apple products so it normally automatically pairs with whichever device it was last connected to when I return home.

• You can plug the device into the switched outlet on the back of your receiver. This way the device will shut off when you turn your receiver off.

• You must unplug it to turn it off. I plugged mine into a socket switch.
