Just plug in the line to your speaker line on the laptop. Right click on the speaker icon in the bottom far right, and choose the speaker. The sound is great, and controllable.

Granted it you won't get the "Home Theater" sound as the high end speakers depending on what type of sound your trying to get, but it does bring out the sound in a great way with two speakers and the price is right. Easy connect.
