The product description (or maybe it was one of the reviews I read) states that these speakers use a standard 3.5mm microphone/headphone plug, so that's the kind of jack they'll plug into.

The cord is an analog cord, not USB. It is not the sort of cord you plug into a "receiver", so not an "aux" cord. The cord has a stereo mini connector as is typically plugged into a PC's sound card, rather than a full-size stereo headphone connector.
