Are these speakers for televisions null

I wouldn't. They are small, the sound quality is not sufficient for anything other than a basic "gotta hear what's going on" thing, like for watching the occasional video clip online (in my opinion). If you're trying to set up a sound system for your living room, these will NOT work!
