“I purchased these speakers a few months ago and they worked great. I'm not sure what happened, but when I click the "sound" icon on the bottom right to select playback devices, the speakers no longer show up. What should I be choosing for this option?”

This sounds like a computer issue. As long as the speakers are directly connected to your computer, they will show up. Try checking the 3.5mm cable to be sure it's plugged in.
