• Depends on what u call loud. They are more than loud enough for our 3 bedroom home i can hear them in any room

• They are plenty loud for my purposes; I use them with a personal CD player, and they are a lot louder than the computer speakers I replaced, even the powered ones. Obviously they will not be as loud as larger bookshelf speakers.

• Most apps, including Spotify, I run the speakers about half volume and they get plenty loud between 20-30 Windows volume! I haven't honestly pushed them too far, but I really think they are capable of getting pretty loud!

• It's relative.. For their size, yes. But, 5 watts is 5 watts. Better than the competition.
