Yes and No. Each speaker has a 6 ft. cable that attaches to the back of the sub. You could get the system, and then possibly find an RCA extension cable to put one speaker 10 ft. away.

The speakers are wired to the subwoofer
If you purchased extension cables you could spread them further but you may want to buy a true wireless system

Mine are on a desk (counter top) and about 8 feet apart and the subwoofer is under the desk. They work fine. They cords that come with it pretty much limit the spacing.
