• If your Apple Iphone or Ipad has a 3.5mm headphone jack your good. You just need a AUX cable

• 10feet maybe more. Yes can definite lengthen them to reach corners, If your ipod jack is a 3.5 mm jack yes

• Yes they are long you can put them in deferent part of the room with no problem

• Yes you can use RCA female to female adapter to extend the wires. I tried plugging in my iPod via aux cable in the back and there is no sound. It's a beautiful great sounding speakers for a computer.

• My friend was able to spread them across the entire long wall of his dorm room, with the sub (where the wires connect) in the middle. There are extending conversion cables you can buy to make practically any wire longer. Yes it can plug into a 3.5 mm jack.
