“Do you have to have the camera system connected to your WiFi? Can you have the system connected to a TV or some other monitor? Also are the cameras rated as indoor and outdoor cameras.”

Wi-fi not necessary but required to view remotely. Recorder can be connected to a monitor or TV without the use of wi-fi. Cameras are indoor/outdoor rated.
