- Answer This doorbell also only records clips if you use it as a stand alone device. But if you have a Lorex NVR that is in their "Fusion" line, this doorbell can be added as a channel to the NVR and record 24/7. That is how I have mine set up and it is NIFTY

QuestionCan this doorbell be used with the app on an Android device such as a tablet to monitor the doorbell 24/7? What I mean is, we use a tablet as a video monitor for our current video doorbell so we can glance at it to see what's happening at any time.

- Answer if the tablet is equivalent to a phone, you can continouly glance for current video. I do it all the time in my android phone.
