• I have two cameras set up in window sill. Very clear picture during day, but at night you will see nothing but IR (infrared)glare on window. So if you need night surveillance, not a good choice for location of camera

• We don't recommend pointing the camera out a window. They are outdoor rated and can be installed outside as well.
