- Answer There is a program for the desktop by the manufacturer that facilitates downloading video from the DVR itself. For direct backup, insert a thumb drive or a USB hard drive.

- Answer They don't need a power cord, individually. You'll run all the cords back to the DVR, and it, will supply the power.
