This depends on how long the camera is exposed. It also depends on whether the camera is turned on or not and how fast the temperature changes. Some problems are caused by the different expansion characteristics of materials. Metal and glass are different and this can cause fractures in the materials. Some materials used in the camera are damaged by extreme temperatures. Generally failures of this type are permanent. Good luck.
