“I have a switch that my current 4 cameras connect to in the attic of the house. They have their own power. The switch is then connected by 1 network cable from the switch to the NVR inside the house. Can this system be connected in the same way?”

• If it's a POE switch in the attic, yes, then it needs to plug into the router. Also, the NVR needs to be plug into the router too.
