“Can I use a wireless camera for one of the 8 channels ? For instance, I want to put a couple of cameras in the trees by my gate away from my house but don't want to run wires to them. The rest on my house would be wired.”

• You would be able to use up to 4 wireless cameras on this system (model number LW4211B found on lorex.com). However you can only have a maximum number of 8 cameras total on the system as each camera wired or wireless uses up 1 channel per camera. The only issue is the wireless cameras do require a power adapter to be plugged in at the camera location, therefore you would still need to run wires.

• The answer is no, since each input for this dvr is wired and each camera for a channel, at least in this system it is not possible.
