This camera can detect up to 65 feet away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.go into the settings - you can change the sensitivity for motion detection, and the length of time it records those detections. There is plenty of room on the hard drive for storage. Definitely not a continuous recording camera! Which is my only disappointment. Otherwise, these are great! ps: GET EXTRA BATTERIES TO CHARGE & HAVE WHEN THEY DO NEED CHANGED! I got the 3 cell, longer lasting batteries as the spares & those are now in the cameras.
