You can buy your own cable and the crimping tool to make a longer run than the 100’ cables provided. I suggest using a powered switch for any runs over 150-200’. If you have more than 1 camera to run over 150’ you can run them into a 4-8 port powered switch and then run only 1 line to the dvr. The cameras need that extra boost of power to run correctly and keep your picture clear.
