The 8-channel NVR only accommodates a single HDD up to 6TB. You can quite easily replace the 2TB HDD with a single 4TB or 6TB HDD. The 16-channel and 32-channel NVR's accept a second HDD up to 6TB each for a total of 12TB per NVR. It is important to be discerning when choosing a hard drive and only a surveillance hard drive such as the Seagate SkyHawk 6TB Surveillance Hard Drive should be used. These hard drives are specifically designed for the continuous multi-channel recording and the concurrent recording/playback that is inherent with surveillance systems.
