“I don't have a 4K TV but I would like to change the DVR setting to 4K. Will this cause any problems? I read the manual and it was confusing about that feature so I thought I'd ask here. Thanks.”

• If you change it to 4K and you don’t have 4K when it restarts you won’t get a signal and won’t be able to change back without logging in remotely from a computer.

• We did the same with no issues. We mainly watch through our phones but our monitor that we have set is definitely not HD, UHD or 4k and the visuals are still stellar compared to our old 1080 lorex. ~G
