• Hello, The cameras are powered using a power adapter and plug in to a standard electrical outlet. This camera is an accessory add on to models LW2750 and LW2960 series monitor kits. Thanks, Lorex

• By an ac outlet. We use a long long cord plug it into outside wall unit on our house then up a tree.
