QuestionWhy does a wireless system need a power source?If this is a "Wireless System" why does it have to be plugged into a power source?

- Answer Hello, The system transmits video on a wireless signal back to the main unit, without the need for a long video cable. The unit is not a cable-less unit, as a power adapter is required to be connected to a standard wall outlet, for the camera to have constant power. Thanks, Lorex

- Answer Hello, The cameras are powered using a power adapter and plug in to a standard electrical outlet. This camera is an accessory add on to models LW2750 and LW2960 series monitor kits. Thanks, Lorex

- Answer This camera must be used with LW2750 Series or LW2960 Series wireless video surveillance system. Those systems come with a monitor/receiver and can also be used with the Lorex Stratus app on your mobile device.

- Answer This system does not require an NVR. This particular camera is an add-on camera to the Lorex LW2750 Series or LW2960 Series wireless video surveillance system. The camera will pair wirelessly with the system monitor and recording can be done via the monitor. You can also view the cameras with your mobile devices and take snapshots of live events.

- Answer How to watch your recorded sections! I had trouble when I only had a 4 GB SD card now I have a 64 GB SD card and I'm able to watch all the footage I need. Just press down on your toggle control and your calendar pops up then you can maneuver around to whatever date you wish to see

- Answer Hello, This is an add-on camera for series LW2751 or LW2962H only, and does not work as a standalone camera. The systems LW2751 and LW2962H can be viewed on an iPhone with a free app when the monitor is connected with a network cable to your router and high speed internet connection. Thanks, Lorex
