Q: QuestionI read somewhere that this filter is capable of filtering 200gals, is that true? If that is true then 200gal/$50 per filter = $4 per galloon to filter my water. This is crazy, and would be cheaper to buy StarrrBuccks Water.

• A:Answer I believe your math is incorrect. If the filter costs $50 and filters 200 gallons of water, it would cost $.25 (25 cents) per gallon. Also, the change filter light turns on every 6 months, and the water dispenser doesn’t stop working when the change filter light turns on, so your cost per gallon is variable, depending on the quantity of water you use during that 6 month-ish period of time.

Smart Counter-Depth MAX™ French Door Refrigerator, Model # LRFLC2706S, state, "Use replacement cartridge: LT1000P, LT1000PC, LT1000PCS or ADQ747935**". The listed filters all refer to the same LG LT1000P® - 6 Month / 200 Gallon Capacity Replacement Refrigerator Water Filter. The only difference between the listed filters is the packaging. P is a single filter in a paper box, PC is a single filter in a clamshell, and PCS is two filters in a clamshell. ADQ747935** is the part number for the filters, and the asterisks at the end will change depending on the packing...^Ivan.
