The PD-6WCL dimmer is rated for 150W of compatible LED or 600W of incandescent/halogen load. If there are two load wires in the wall box (one for fan and one lights), then the PD-6WCL may be able to control the lighting independently. However, a fan that utilizes its own proprietary remote control may experience compatibility issues with a third party device. Lutron recommend contacting the fan manufacturer for recommendations.
