“Is there any splash out between the seat and rim? What if a curious child or person turns it on with no one sitting? A 3 year old may think it is a drinking fountain. Yech!”

No splash over at all as long as your sitting on the seat, otherwise it will hit the ceiling with water, or right in your eye if your watching it in action.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Haven’t noticed any water splashing out between the seat and the rim as the water is angled upwards. Of course if a curious child plays with it, it can be undesirable. It’s not for every household.
