I've got both an iPad and the M1 MacBook. For your use case I think the iPad Air would be great. However, keep in mind you might not actually save any money if you plan to purchase an Apple Pencil and keyboard for your iPad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The MacBook Air has a keypad. The IPad Air has a built in keyboard that takes up screen space. If you use Word, writing and reading the keyboard is the best for such tasks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For word, i would prefer the macbook, but thats just personal preference. its going to give you a better experience having the keyboard built in. It just depends on how often youll be using that app. the rest could easily be done on an ipad.
