I've learned that you'll have a much better chance of getting a small Veteran's discount if you buy your products from the same Best Buy each time you're in need. Another way to get your Veteran's discount is to show your military ID or your VA ID card. It's worked for me when I've purchased products $999.99 or in a couple of thousand dollar range.
